Festi’Rail 81 – The Petit Train’s grand festival returns on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 September 2026 for two days of events and activities along the former Castres-Brassac-Murat railway line.
On the programme: walking tours, mountain bike and cycling routes, visits and discoveries of the railway and industrial heritage, talks, conferences, exhibitions, screenings, shows, concerts and live music. Young and old can also enjoy games, a pétanque competition, a fireworks display and plenty of opportunities to sample local food.
From Castres to Murat-sur-Vèbre, passing through the villages of Lacrouzette, Vabre, Lacaze and Lacaune, Festi’Rail invites locals and visitors alike to discover the heritage of the Hautes Terres d’Oc in a different way.
A festive and friendly weekend to discover the history of the Petit Train, meet local people and organisations, and enjoy wonderful moments with family and friends.
