Responsible Holidays: Embrace the Green Attitude!

Because being on holiday also means respecting the planet, discover our tips to enjoy your stay while preserving our beautiful Haut-Languedoc region. Follow the guide for fun and eco-friendly holidays!

In Your Accommodation: Green Habits

  • Soaps and Towels : Only use what you need to avoid unnecessary washing. If you stay several days, let staff know that daily cleaning is not required.
  • Energy Consumption : Make the most of natural light. Set heating to 19°C (66°F) or air conditioning to no more than 8°C (14°F) below the outdoor temperature.
  • Quick Shower, Happy Planet : A 5-minute song in the shower (for example, Show Must Go On by Queen) is better than a Mozart opera. Water-saving guaranteed: 50L per short shower!

At the Restaurant: Enjoy Without Wasting

  • Doggy-bag friendly : Didn’t finish your meal? Ask for a doggy bag and help reduce food waste.
  • Straw-Free Cocktails : Skip the straw — the taste is just as good!

At the Markets: Shop Smart

  • Choose reusable shopping bags and fabric bags for fruit and vegetables. Say goodbye to plastic bags!

On Your Walks: Respect Nature Above All

  • Mobile Waste : Bring a small bag to collect litter along the way.
  • Reusable Bottle : Use a reusable bottle and avoid disposable plastic bottles.
