Capitelles, retaining walls, chestnut drying huts (secadors), shelters... Dry stone structures can be found throughout the Regional Natural Park and take many forms.

9:00 am – 10:00 am: Introduction to the principles of dry stone construction
10:00 am – 5:00 pm: Practical workshop on restoring a dry stone wall
Capitelles, retaining walls, chestnut drying huts (secadors), shelters... examples of dry stone construction are numerous and can be found throughout the Park.
At 9:00 am, the instructor will present the main principles of this traditional technique using a slideshow and numerous photographs. This introduction will be followed by hands-on outdoor work restoring dry stone walls until 5:00 pm.
