An accessible and dynamic route starting from the charming village of Lamontélarié: deep forests, wild peat bogs and stunning views over Lake La Raviège.

Starting from the picturesque village of Lamontélarié, this 11.9 km trail (with 320 m elevation gain) is a perfect warm-up to discover the Tarnais mountains. After a short paved section, the adventure begins on the trails! In the first kilometre, a loop takes you through the Sagne des Baysses, a unique natural area where peat bogs and narrow single tracks follow one another in a mysterious atmosphere.

The second part dives into the forest of Lamontélarié before climbing up to the ridge. From above, superb panoramas over Lake La Raviège reward your efforts. The downhill section is smooth and fast, ideal to pick up speed before the final ascent back to the village.

Accessible yet varied, this trail mixes gentle technical sections with pure running pleasure. A perfect route to experience the trail spirit of the Monts de Lacaune, between preserved nature and outdoor sensations.
