Starting from the church, this heritage circuit leads you through the village, guided by a series of interpretive panels.
Discover:
- Saint-Martin Church, shaped over centuries from a 15th-century castle chapel into today’s Saint-Victor Church. Inside, admire the superb frescoes by artist Michael Greschny.
- Rue des Consuls, named after the Occitan word for “mayor” and home to every mayor of Nages from 1880 to 2008.
- Washhouses, fountains, troughs and rural features that evoke everyday life in past centuries.
The trail continues through the countryside, passing crosses, “jasses”, bridges, an old quarry and the lime kiln before reaching the bread oven, the village scale and the castle courtyard.
The château of the Counts of Thézan has been partially restored, and its central courtyard now hosts exhibitions during the summer season.
