The Salvetoise Forest Trail (18.2 km – 500 m elevation gain/loss) is a dynamic route combining history, nature and authenticity. From the start at La Salvetat-sur-Agout town hall, the circuit immediately dives into heritage: old streets, remnants of fortifications and the historic Saint-Étienne de Cavall bridge.
The climb to Col d’Empy (913 m) then opens onto a deep forest landscape where the paths alternate between fast sections and more technical passages. The route crosses a series of typical hamlets (Grualgues, La Végende, Couffignet, La Gâche, Condax), adding touches of local heritage throughout the run.
